Garlic Steak Bites

INGREDIENTS:

2 piece Steak

1.5 tbsp minced garlic

1.5 tbsp Oil

Salt and Pepper

2.5 tbsp Chinese Cooking Wine optional

2 tbsp Soy Sauce

1 tsp Baking Soda

6 cloves Garlic thinly sliced

1 Green Onion chopped

1-2 tbsp Butter

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Cut steak into bite-sized pieces and marinate with 1.5 tbsp of oil, salt and pepper, minced garlic, soy sauce, Chinese cooking wine, and baking soda. Set aside for 10-20 minutes.
  2. In a pan, drizzle in oil (around 3 tbsp), and once the pan is hot, add in the sliced garlic. Let the garlic fry for 2-3 minutes until crispy and brown. This step will be fragrant the oil.
  3. Remove the garlic, and turn the heat up to medium-high. Add in the steak cubes and let them sit for 30 seconds – 1 minute.
  4. After 1 minute, fry on high heat for another 2-3 minutes. Add back in the garlic.
  5. OPTIONAL, add in 1-2 tbsp of butter and fry for another 1 minute.
  6. Garnish with green onion and enjoy!
